Komal Bedi Sohal is to return to Dubai as chief creative officer of Saatchi & Saatchi. 

Bedi Sohal, who is a former executive creative director at Y&R Dubai and Lowe MENA, is to officially take on her new role in January. She had previously been chief creative officer at Y&R Singapore, a position she had held since June 2015. 

Bedi Sohal replaces Richard Copping, who had been executive creative director at Saatchi & Saatchi Dubai since early 2013. He had joined GTB as executive creative director.

Adil Khan, chief executive officer at Saatchi & Saatchi Dubai, confirmed the appointment but was unable to comment further.
